All My Children

This post serves no purpose to anyone other than to give myself a piece of mind....to say a goodbye...

Don't get confused...My children are my birds. I love them to death. I got them from my boy, as a gift and they each have a special place in my big ol'  heart. Yeah, I would consider myself a dog person, but birds are just as great...even though you can't take them on walks and play catch, my budgies have their own personalities and I adore each one...even though I have my favorite (shhhhh).

I had to dedicate a post to my feathered friends because I just recently gave away two of them. Having four was a little much and two of them were not getting along (they were fighting over the girl). So human like huh?

Aren't they adorable?

My Two babies left.....

I feel like I have some closure now....I'm such a baby!

You've got to Pump it up

I'm on a tight budget these days. Times are hard. What can I say? I'm a student for christ-sake! But on occasion I will browse my favorite designer's websites and check out their latest items and must haves.

I sat down at my boy's house with my laptop last night and told him I needed some quiet time to get some school work done, but when he surprised me around the corner he laughed at the "school work" I was doing. Well, the fact is I wasn't doing school work at all. I was browsing. Oh, YSL why have you constantly distracted me with your gorgeous shoes and bags instead of motivating me to get my assignment done, so I can later make enough money to buy this friggen stuff!

ps. I still love you YSL :)

Of course, once my boy saw the price of the shoes, he gasped, but didn't say a word. he knew what i would say.... "IT'S WORTH IT!!" and god, are they ever. For roughly $800 you get these gorgeous things.

I'm a fan of elaborate funky and textured shoes and boots, but sometimes, less is more. These shoes are simple, but a necessity of course and can go with anything in your wardrobe. Pumps have a way of making any pair of legs look like Giselle Bundchen's or Heidi Klum's (eff them!), so when I wear a beautiful set of pumps, I feel on top of the world. So, here's hoping to someday purchasing these puppies and I just might be  on top of the world.

Fit pump to that!

Platform slingback in shiny textured leather features iconic covered platform and buckle closure. 1.5 inch platform. 4.5 inch heel. Every girl needs a slingback!

Is it terrible I am writing this post in one of my classes? Yeah, i didn't think so.

Move ya body like a snake Ma

This post is a dedication to my girl Ally, these shoes were a topic in a "drunk talk" conversation during a night out last night and I told her I would give a little shoutout :)

The first time I saw Alexander McQueen's Spring/Summer 2010 campaign, I didn't even notice the model, Raquel Zimmermann,  but once I saw the glorious shoes that are McQueen, I quickly drew my eyes up the body to a porcelain, doll- like face.

Snakes are one of my biggest fears, so if I was ever in the position to be asked to do something like this (which would never happen), these shoes are the solely reason for me going through with it.

All Hail McQueen!

Shoes always fit

I'm having a rough afternoon. It's difficult not to be hard on myself sometimes, but to completely 100% feel comfortable in your own skin is not something that is constant in my life. I am trying to suck it up and just smile..but when things feel rough, it's always uplifting to look at shoes. No matter what body type or size you are, shoes always fit and they always look amazing. I came across these shoes, and these in particular are perfect to kick my current bad attitude's A$$!

I would love for someone to piss me off when I wear these shoes

H is for Heidi

This breaks my heart to see what is gradually happening to her, but God, what an idiot! I mean, if you want a little nip tuck here and there, I can understand, but to undergo multiple cosmetic surgery enhancements in one sitting is just plain dumb. To think of how risky the procedure must have been is just frightening....

Here is the before and after and the numerous surgeries she took to look "perfect"...(whatever that means!)

Her ninnies look like she is gonna just tip over! This is her second breast enhancement increasing the size to a triple D. Apparently she was quoted say she wants to be a size "H for Heidi"

This is me....rolling my eyes at the moment. I am crossing my fingers that she is done with cosmetic surgery, but I have a strong feeling she has only just begun.

Don't be a Douchebag

Not only is this song so hilarious, but its got a catchy beat to it, and thanks to a friend who introduced me to it, I have fallen in love and immediately added it to my iTunes.

Listen to the lyrics... Do you know a douchebag like this? lol

Meet Mila!

That 70"s show was never a favorite of mine, but ever since Ms. Mila Kunis has left to achieve bigger and better things, I have officially been hooked. Her stunning look on the cover of BlackBook magazine for Dec 09'  was hard to resist posting. I adore her makeup and look in this shoot...Can you say hotttttttt!?!?!?

I can't wait to see her in The Book of Eli with Denzel...Looks like its gonna be a good one!

(Side note: She's with Macaulay Culkin!!!)
