Not gonna lie; I've been on this plus sized model kick, and I'm loving it. In no way am I knocking the gorgeous size 2's, 4's and even the 6's, but who knew a size 14 could look so sexy?
In general, I believe all women are beautiful. God created us in all shapes and sizes and of course "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", however with the fashion industry throwing Miranda Kerr's, Coco Rocha's and Gizselle Bundchen's in our faces, its refreshing to get a different take on body types.
Laura Catteral is a UK plus-size model and she is indeed model material. What I find most attractive about a woman (regardless of their size) is how they carry themselves and knowing what flatters them. Catteral's demeanor is eye-catching and hard to ignore. Her olive skin and ocean blue eyes take you to another world. A world where size has minimal significance.

You know what I say to plus size? There's just more body to love!

What a fabulous long weekend. It was a nice end to the holiday with a day at the beach with the bf and some friends. The sun was shining and you couldn't ask for more.
The beach was packed, but with the music blaring and breeze from the lake, you catch yourself wondering if this is what heaven is like.
Found these adorable beach pictures of actress and singer Zoey Deschanel for Lula Magazine. I'm loving the 50's inspired look and I'm so happy, this era is coming back in beach wear. I'm thinking I need those glasses too....hmmm

All three of these women hold a special place in my 'fashion industry heart', and because of this issue, I have been so pleased with the industry and their openness to accept that all models don't have to be stick thin.
These women are the perfect faces to show the female readers of the body sizes inhabited by so many women in our culture today. I couldn't be more proud to be a curvy woman...
