This is the new Norm

Victoria Secrets model Alessandra Ambrosio, Plus-size model sensation Crystal Renn and finally model and wife to Tennis player Andy Roddick, Brooklyn Decker all grace the covers of Glamour for the June 2010 issue.  

 The three ladies discuss  the modeling industry and body diversity while looking fierce in their bikini bods.

 All three of these women hold a special place in my 'fashion industry heart', and because of this issue, I have been so pleased with the industry and their openness to accept that all models don't have to be stick thin.   

These women are the perfect faces to show the female readers of the body sizes inhabited by so many women in our culture today. I couldn't be more proud to be a curvy woman...   

I mean, there's always tomorrow for me to wish I was a size 2.....

Renn goes on to say in the issue that  " Women will accept themselves when they see more (body) types... This is the new normal" .   

This is normal alright. Fashion industry; take note.
