Look at this chic little muffin top! It's been said that she's Alexander Wang's niece.
Just adorable!

A while back I was invited to an event called Boobyball. A 70's inspired event for Breast Cancer awareness.
Once invited, I run through my wardrobe of what to wear, and half the time, I just like having something new. Unfortunately, my budget wouldn't allow it. So, plan B. Make something!
I went to a local thrift store and I randomly came across this plus plus PLUS sized womans dress shirt. It had the biggest shoulder pads I had ever seen and it was literally falling off of me. However, the sparkles in the fabric mixed with the texture directed me straight to the checkout.
I basically took it apart and then put it back together. Except, I wore it as a minidress. I brought in the sides and arms and took out the slits in the side. Voila!
Don't mind the picture quality. It was taken with an iPhone.
Back to my point. As I browse the latest trends online (which I do just about everyday) I came across this J.Crew dress.
Look Familiar? I thought so too.
I just like to put my own twist on things. That's life right? You always appreciate things more when you DIY!

Michael Kors Ready to Wear Fall 2010
I'm already a huge fan of Michael Kors. Everything he does is so effortless and all of his designs seem to be fit for many body types. Loving the fur, camel coloured garments and tailored trousers... So chic!

I find nowadays people are so stuck with what to wear in the warm months of summer between work & play. Give them a jean skirt or a floral spaghetti strap dress and that's all they need, but it is hardly a way to stand out and complement your style.
For the 'beachers'. Don't just find something to throw on just for the trip to the beach, wear something that compliments the bathing suit, and you can wear straight from the beach to a patio with friends. Don't just see your bathing suit as the focal piece; it is still a complete outfit.
Then, for those working folk, don't shy away from untraditional work outfits. You don't always need to wear black dress pants and a collard top to work; dress it up and have fun with it. Don't get me wrong, you can wear these items, but instead of together, give the outfit a punch of summer wardrobe. Wear shorts and wedges, but pair it with a blazer or collard dress shirt.
The possibilities are endless.....
